Last night of my spring break from community college. PARTY (sarcasm.)
One last chance to “review” a beer. Back on track with homework and responsibility after this one.
Tonight, I will be reviewing London-Style Porter by Arcadia Ales. Even though at the start of this series I had problems with craft beers, it now seems like it’s the only thing I want to review. I am now a believer.
- Cheaper than the other two microbrewery beers that I’ve reviewed.
- 7% alcohol, so still pretty high.
- Made in Battle Creek, MI.
- I tried Dirty Bastard before this one.
Dirty Bastard by Founders Brewing Company remains the beer to beat. Good luck, anyone else.
Arcadia Ales London-Style Porter is good, don’t get me wrong. I would still pick Dirty Bastard over it 9/10 times.
Okay, to be honest 10/10 times.
For those of you keeping score, the placement of beer goes a little something like this now.
Gold medal – Founders Dirty Bastard
Silver medal – Arcadia Ales London-Style Porter
Bronze medal – Sierra Nevada Torpedo
I’m going to try and review something non-alcohol related next time.
