Mr. Carrey,
I hate you and it hurts me.  It never used to be like this.  I once idolized you.  I stayed with you when you went off and started making those “serious” pictures.  I even loved one of those bastard offspring.
Then you made The Number 23.   I remember the exact day I watched this travesty.  It was *November 12th, 2010.  It was the day I stopped loving you.

I will admit, I’ve checked up on you a few times since then.  I’ve looked you up occasionally on imdb.com.  I’ve fallen asleep to Mr. Popper’s Penguins.

I even felt the old flame rekindle when the Dumb and Dumber sequel was announced and you were on board with Jeff Daniels to star.  I spent the next couple of months re-watching old favorites and falling in love again.

Yesterday at **2:21 AM, I stumbled across this article.  It broke my heart.  It made dislike transform into hate.

According to sources, Carrey grew increasingly frustrated by New Line and Warner Brothers, who he felt showed a lack of enthusiasm regarding the project.

Lame ass excuse, Carrey.  What about the fans, man?  What about Lloyd and Harry?

I’d sign this post with my tears, if it were possible.
